The impressive DeChristopher Design dynasty began in 1962 when Steven DeChristopher, Sr., finished military service and moved to Palm Springs with his wife and children. He opened one

Fascinated by art and design, Steven, Jr. studied at the highly respected U.C.L.A. Interior sand Environmental Design School earning his diploma and credentials in 1982. Joining his fathers company, he has successfully combined his love of residential design and emerging technology, adding a new dimension to the unparalleled success of the firm.
In the mid-70s, Steven De Christopher, Sr. virtually invented the design center concept. Homebuyers were offered convenience, competitive prices and the hands-on assistance of professional designers.
