| From Bhaskar Ramamurthy &
Shyamala Viswanathan in Los Altos, CA:
There are two strong
indicators of a successful real estate transaction; 1) you
will conduct real estate transactions with the same Realtor
and 2) you will strongly recommend your Realtor to a friend
and relative. On both these counts, we are happy to say that
we have had three successful transactions with Gary as our
Realtor. We bought our first home through Gary eight years
ago and just recently as our needs have changed, we have sold
our home and have bought another very lovely house. We also
have referred Gary to friends and family and each of these
recommendations have resulted in successful outcomes.
The term "standard of care"
applies to every industry as it does to the real estate industry.
In this day and age, when we tend to become a mere account
within a big environment, working with Gary has been a refreshing
change. His style is very personal. We do not have to go through
multiple people to merely talk to him; he does not refer to
us as a “buyer” or “seller” in conversations
and for that matter, he does not refer to the other principals
(even those he does not represent) in the transaction with
those words.
Gary exhibits perhaps the finest
example of the Silicon Valley ethic. He works very smart,
hard and puts in long hours. His fundamentals and knowledge
of the industry is extremely strong; this is one important
reason why we would repeatedly do business with him. Lack
of knowledge and making decisions based on poor information
can potentially cost a lot of money.
One last note: there is only one
simple motivation for us to write this letter. We want Gary
and his business to thrive so that the next time we are ready
to conduct real estate business, hopefully not for another
15-20 years, he and his services will be available to us.
Good luck.

From Jonathan & Kirsten Burns in Menlo Park, CA:
Hi Gary,
Just wanted to send a note and thank
you for all your hard work for us over the years. When we
first met I was a little skeptical about diving into the real
estate market. I didn't think there was any way my wife and
I could possibly afford it, and was filled with fear, uncertainty
and doubt. But you stewarded us through the entire process
of learning how the market works, getting a good loan, and
purchasing our first brand new home in Mountain View. That
was five years ago, and in that five years we've seen the
value of that property almost double, so from that alone we
know we made the right decisions.
Fast forward to the spring of 2002
and we were able to refinance the loan on that Mountain View
property, drawing enough equity funds to pay off our consumer
debt and still have enough left over for the down payment
on our second home in Menlo Park -- and we didn't even have
to sell the first house! That Mountain View property is now
a rental for us that pays for itself with rents alone, while
continuing to go up in value. Your stewardship continues to
be a great asset to us and on top of the great advice and
guidance, you've always got great stories to liven up our
continuing adventures. So thanks again, and we're looking
forward to our next great adventure.
